Dear Music Lovers

The Cape Town Concert Series presents our next recital on Saturday 11 March, and for the first time it will be held at Christ Church, Constantia.  As always it is our mission to present the finest artists available in the country and we didn’t want to miss the chance to hear Rachel-Lee Priday once more.  She will performing the following programme with Francois du Toit:

Schubert D Major Sonatina
Beethoven Spring Sonata

Interval

Poulenc Sonata
Jessie Montgomery Rhapsody No. 1 for solo violin
Bartok Six Romanian Folk Dances

The concert starts at 11am and there will be drinks available before and during the interval provided by Christ Church with all the proceeds going to the church.

Tickets for unreserved seating are available from Webtickets and there is plenty of parking at the church.   For more information on the artists do visit our website www.ctconcerts.co.za.

In other news it has been brought to our attention that the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon no longer takes place over the Easter weekend but will be happening the morning of 15 April – just when our concert was due to take place!  This means the Baxter will be completely inaccessible at that time. We have put the booking on hold and currently are looking for an alternate date close by. Possibly the evening of 21st or morning of 22nd. As soon as we can finalise this with the Baxter we will let you know.

Do contact if you have any queries and we look forward to welcoming you again to the Cape Town Concert Series.

Kind regards
Louise Howlett
