The Cape Town Concert Series is once again excited to collaborate with Concerts Connect to present the CPO Wind Quintet with pianist Pieter Grobler on 30 August 2020 from the spectacular Moondance Villa in Fresnaye, Cape Town.
The wind quintet features CPO players Gabrielle von Durckheim on flute, Lisa White on oboe, Daniel Prozesky on clarinet, Simon Ball on bassoon and Caroline Prozesky on horn. With pianist Pieter Grobler they will perform two works: Poulenc’s Sextet and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Piano Quintet.
The stream will start at 15:30 with an introduction to the venue, the artists and partner organisations, and will be available for 72 hours to watch again.
Concerts Connect link up with Music Societies around the country to offer unique classical experiences for them to present during this lockdown period. Each concert takes place from a different iconic venue around the Cape.
