The Cape Town Concert Series completes it’s season with violinist Yevgeny Kutik. With a “dark-hued tone and razor-sharp technique” (The New York Times), violinist Yevgeny Kutik has captivated audiences worldwide with an old-world sound that communicates a modern intellect. Praised for his technical precision and virtuosity, he is also lauded for his poetic and imaginative interpretations of standard works as well as rarely heard and newly composed repertoire. For this concert Yevgeny will present a mixed programme of chamber music focussing around the violin. Joining him will be two of Cape Town’s finest chamber musicians – pianist Francois du Toit and cellist David Pinoit. Their programme will include:

Joseph Achron – Hebrew Melody
Prokofiev – F minor Sonata No. 1

Brahms – Piano Trio No. 1 in B major
