RACHMANINOFF AT THE BAXTER WITH GUSTAVO ROMERO

Following the success of his Beethoven and Schubert Series, concert pianist Gustavo Romero returns to Cape Town for one concert only in early January, to celebrate the 150th anniversary Rachmaninoff. The concert will take place at 3pm in the Baxter Concert Hall in Rondebosch, Cape Town. The programme will be a full mix of Rachmaninoff’s works – short pieces, etudes, preludes, finishing with the Sonata No.1 in D minor. (full programme below)

Gustavo will once again partner with the Baxter Theatre, Ian-Burgess Simpson Pianos (who will prepare the piano for the concert) and the Cape Town Concert Series who will assist with logistics as part of their “Extra” series.
