The Cape Town Concert Series ends the year off with abit of a splash and what better way than joining forces with our online partners Concerts Connect in a fundraising gala in support of The Children’s Hospital Trust – for the upgrade and expansion of the Emergency Centre at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. The concert is also in support of freelance musicians and live classical music in and around Cape Town.  The event has been made possible through the collaboration with Concerts Connect, AdMakers International and AdBrands Marine (RIVA YACHTS),

The first half of the programme will feature Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals conducted by Brandon Phillips and performed by a freelance 12 piece orchestra, Nina Schumann and Francois du Toit on two pianos, and narrated by Gloria Bosman. The second half of the programme will feature Gloria Bosman performing four of her favourite songs arranged for an intimate orchestral setting.

If you would like to brush off your black tie and cocktail dress – the live performance takes place on Friday 4th December. There are just 50 tickets available at R1000 per person. However, the evening will also be recorded and produced for online streaming to enjoy from the comfort of your home from 11 December at just R100 per ticket.  Tickets available from Quicket https://www.quicket.co.za/events/123000-concerts-connect-a-carnival-with-gloria-bosman/?ref=events-list#/

50% of all ticket sales goes to the Children’s Hospital Trust. The Cape Town Concert Series and the support of freelance musicians through Concerts Connect are the secondary beneficiaries.

We hope you will join us either in person on the 4th,  or online from the 11th for a fun evening of music to sooth our souls and lift our spirits at the end of what has certainly been a year none of us will forget!
