CTCS Presents Chamber Music with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra

Back by popular demand, the Cape Town Concert Series 2024 presents a programme of chamber music featuring members of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra.

The programme will feature highlights from the recent Franschhoek Chamber Music Festival with works that are rarely heard due to their composition and size. This gives the chance to see your favourite orchestral musicians in a more intimate setting featuring string, wind and brass music.

This year’s programme includes an arrangement of Bach’s Little Fugue for Brass Quintet,  Mozart’s Wind Serenade in E flat, K375 and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons featuring CPO principal players Philip Martens, Maretha Uys, Piet de Beer and Ralitza Macheva as soloists for each season.

The concert starts at 11am – as always the Baxter restaurant and bar will be available before and after for refreshments.
