The Cape Town Concert Series returns to the Baxter to present highlights from the recent Franschhoek Chamber Music and Art Festival featuring musicians from the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra. A mixed programme of string, wind and brass chamber music offers the audience a chance to connect with the musicians on a more intimate platform.

The concert will open with the

Pian e Forte by Gabrielli for Brass Ensemble, then followed by Mendelssohn’s String Octet and finish with Dvorak’s Serenade for Winds (with added cello and double bass).

The concert takes place in the Baxter Concert Hall at 11am on Saturday 22 April.  After the concert you are invited to meet the musicians in the foyer.
